This volume accompanies an exhibition at The Art Institute of Chicago that showcases a unique collection of contemporary American realist drawings assembled over the course of the last twenty-five years by Chicago collectors Jalane and Richard Davidson.
This catalogue and the exhibition it accompanies focus on 125 drawings in the Davidson collection, bringing renewed attention to a trend in American contemporary art that is still largely overlooked by critics.
